My Career Goal

+ I have 30 years experience in federal agencies (NOAA, US Census Bureau, USGS), nonprofit (president of National Council for Geographic Education), private industry (Education Manager, Esri), and academia (University of Denver, Sinte Gleska University, Penn State, others).

+ I have created 5,000 videos on STEM, geography, teaching and learning, GIS, space, and place.

+ I have authored/co-authored 8 books including Interpreting Our World, Essentials of the Environment, Spatial Mathematics, and the GIS Guide to Public Domain Data.

-- I have written 1,500 blog essays including GeoNet Community and Spatial Reserves.

+ I have written 100 peer-reviewed chapters and articles including in this Springer book.

--I have given presentations in 350 schools, 150 universities, 150 major conferences, in 16 countries and on 5 continents.

+ I have sung many off-key, very bad geography song parodies on SoundCloud.  Warning:  Plug your ears! 

What can I say but that I love geography, people, places, maps, and GIS.
